Richard was born in Derbyshire, and graduated from Birmingham University in 1984.
On qualifying as a management accountant in industry, Richard worked in a number of well known service and manufacturing businesses throughout the UK before joining Alcatel in 1991.
Subsequent appointments as Financial Controller of Energis and Finance and Commercial Director of Siemens Network Systems (now Affiniti) rounded his experience in high growth telecommunications and technology environments.
For the last 6 years Richard, as CFO, has been turning around, repositioning and disposing of a substantial private equity backed software and services group based across the UK and USA, called Ramesys.
Richard joins as CFO and is responsible for the strategic direction and management of a progressive finance and IT function, company secretarial matters and investor liaison.
