VoIP users 'would recommend service to others'

VoIP users are so impressed with the service they received that almost all firms with over 100 employees would recommend it.

According to Processor.com, research by Savatar has found companies with a larger number of employees find the service reliable, with 57 per cent saying that service exceeds that of their previous system.

In addition, over three-quarters say the cost of VoIP is a cheaper than their previous supplier.

However, medium-sized businesses have yet to be penetrated fully, with many not realising the savings which can be made through the service, reports the website.

It also says these companies can benefit from the ease of use and management.

Those selling VoIP services say much of the "early adopter pool" has been exhausted and they are now waiting for it to have mainstream take-up.

Vincent Potier, a VoIP specialist, reinforces this view, saying many firms need to leave their "comfort zone" and adopt VoIP services.
