Wireless TEM 'drives growth'

Telecoms expense management (TEM) helps to reduce the costs associated with remote working, according to one recently released report. In its Execute on Wireless Expense Management to Drive ROI study, the Aberdeen Group has noted that TEM helps reduce wireless telecommunications costs by an average of 31 per cent. An increasing number of businesses are choosing TEM to lower costs associated with mobile and remote working, the resource reports. Cited on TMCnet, the publication also found that TEM has also helped businesses to reduce overall mobile communications cost by 26 per cent. "Mobility deployments and their ongoing management require a holistic lifecycle approach to cost reduction," explained Ralph Rodriguez, senior vice-president of technology research at Aberdeen. Mr Rodriguez concluded that best-in-class organisations have come to recognise TEM as an effective way to keep wireless and mobile costs down. Elsewhere, US-based telecoms firm Expansion Plus has advised companies not currently adopting TEM for wireless connectivity to contact a reputable provider for recommendations on how to proceed.
